I cannot take credit for this recipe, I found it here on this blog, but modified it based on what I have been learning 🙂
Here is my take on it
1/4-cup coconut flour
2 tbsp Tapioca flour (or starch)
1/4 cup Coconut Oil
3 Flax Meal Eggs – 3 tbsp flax meal + 9 tbsp warm water (let sit for 5 minutes)
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp and a bit baking powder
A few spinach leaves shredded up (about 5) to fine little bits (optional)
1/8 tsp. Salt
A touch pepper
1tbsp ITALIAN SPICE – Here is the one I used. You can buy the mix pre made at the store, choose another favorite brand, or make your own, which include
Onion, garlic, parsley, chili pepper, mustard, coriander, cumin, orange peel, Lemon essential oil
1.Mix all dry ingredients
2.Then mix in all the wet!
3.Scoop and plop on a greased baking pan using your fist (not a rolling pin) to spread the dough out into a round flat circle (as it is not like normal rolling dough consistency)
4.Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
6.After, load up your ingredients (make sure you do not go too heavy on the toppings, as the crust is not super thick or firm
7.Place pizza back in the oven for 10 minutes on 400 (unless you have a high powered oven then back to 350)
8.When done, if the middle still looks mushy put it back in the oven until it is somewhat crisper (may be due to too many toppings).
9.ENJOY!!! Below is how I topped my pizza, my sauce and chicken recipe will be in the food section here soon so go check it out:)
I used the Pacific brand of tomato soup and added coconut milk, a little olive oil, grass fed butter and the Italian spices above (This was left over soup and I only used about 2-4 TBSP of it on the pizza lol).
Basil garlic balsamic chicken (recipe in my food section of the blog)
Sun dried tomatoes
Salt and pepper
Optional- if you can have dairy, add some mozzarella on there !!!!!
