Two questions: How would you like to not fear failing? Would you like to live a more full life that encompasses and accomplishes your dreams?
Read this guys blog and books, and also the Bible because that’s just the best book ever!!
SO: Anyone else familiar with the master mind Tim Ferriss @http://fourhourworkweek.com/ ?
(Go check him out at his link above)
Well if not let me summarize this famous entrepreneur, author and guinea pig’s few lesson’s that have revolutionized my life:
DO NOT fear failure but fail better; what would you do if you couldn’t fail? why not try?
Learn 20% of what will get you 80% of the results of what you would like to learn, and
Goal set the RIGHT way, and get more done by planning less.
There is so much more, my husband and I are in the process of reading all 3 of his books, and it is really changing my life.
I think the biggest thing for me was the not fearing failure and the goal setting. He teaches that goals need to have a clear result as to what it looks like to achieve it.
For instance, if I want to “get in shape” what does that look like? Have you set this goal only to fail not because you are a failure, but because you were aiming at too many targets with just a arrow or two?
instead, pick something. Getting in shape means squatting 135lbs (my personal goal 🙂
or if it’s another language, what does learning spanish mean to you? To speak a full sentence?
Anyway, don’t learn from me learn from him but I just hope with all my heart that you will learn to be free and live free because of what he teaches, I know I have become less “busy” and have got more done and experienced life even more just because of some of these principles.
Anyway, I don’t usually share “failed” or icky recipes on the blog… But I’m going to share this one because “IT’S OK TO FAIL!!!” Im not perfect and mess up at cooking sometimes, but it teaches me how to do it better the next:)
I did’nt have some of the things I needed for “the perfect steak” thus it didn’t really work out… but I plan to try it again some day… and Im 100% sure it will be as yummy as his looked in the book (Tim Ferriss “the 4 hour chef”)!
