I wanted to take my husband on a date In Phoenix.
I’m a “hole in the wall” restaurant type of girl, so I like to find independent, new or highly ranked little place’s rather than chains. I typed in “happy hour” on yelp (or google…) and sure enough this little bar popped up:
Chalk Board art: I’m in love already.
Happy Hour is every day from open to 8pm with 5$ wine’s and 3$ craft beer’s!!
300$ worth of pennies fill the bar’s surface.
Fantastic light fixture’s that screamed “Phoenix art culture”:)
And retro game’s galore as you drink and eat:)
Here are some link’s for directions, menu’s and reviews!
Anyway, let me blab about the wine and food.
While we waited for outr wine (I got a plunger head 2012 Zinfandel which was awesome, Ben got a Cab… His favorite) we played “Rich and Famous”, which was a little hard because we found it outdated our common knowledge, but was absolutely a blast.
Then when we got the wine, instead of a normal flask it was in a measuring glass or “Erlenmeyer flask”
We ordered chips and salsa first then a meat and cheese plate, the place is a small bar and doesn’t have a ton of food options, but is PERFECT for drinks appetizers and merriment. PLUS, loved the wood skewers.
Pretty much ate everything…
Then lastly I had to take a bathroom stop.
This sign above and little hand wash machine with “Sun Block” were both winners. The attention to detail at this place was Impeccable.
Over all, the place get’s 5 stars because we would go back, get drinks and food again and bring someone.
LOVE IT! go try it out guys:)
